Baby Fair

Cuidiú Cork, the Irish childcare trust, will host the annual Baby Fair on Sunday, October 14th, in Midleton, Co. Cork.

Volunteer members of Cuidiú Cork, local businesses, baby-related services and parents, carers and supporters of the charity are gearing up for a jam-packed Baby Fair next month. Cuidiú Cork’s annual Baby Fair & Cake Sale promises to be a fun and informative event for parents and parents-to-be on the hunt for locally crafted baby goods, organic and artisan children’s clothing, support and advice services, and table loads of cakes.

The Baby Fair will host a number of stalls from local businesses as well as experts in the fields of baby first aid, baby massage, weaning on to solids, and more. Young children will be entertained by face-painting and music and games. With a large raffle featuring parent-approved prizes and an enormous bake off-worthy cake sale, it promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for parents, carers, and parents-to-be.

The event also serves to highlight to parents the many supportive services Cuidiú Cork offer and the various weekly events held to encourage and help parents. Cuidiú have trained parent to parent supporters, breastfeeding counselors and so many other volunteers who bake, organise coffee mornings in their homes and give so much in order to support other parents as they themselves have been supported in the past. It’s a free entry event but any donations will go towards Cuidiú Cork to enable the organisation to continue to providing the ongoing support that they strive to offer.

The event takes place on Sunday, October 14th, 14:00-17:00, in Midleton My Place community centre. Entry is free.
