Want some alternatives? There are plenty of hotels, guest houses, Air BNBs etc. in nearby Cork. If you’re using public transport, we recommend the city, Cobh, Glounthane or, of course, Little Island, as they are all on the hourly train route. A few of our committee members are happy to host a person or two too. Please email Niamh on firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like to take someone up on that.
Do I have to stay in the hotel?
No. Although it would certainly be most convenient for you, you can buy conference tickets without staying in the hotel. The Radisson Little Island is located a short walk away from Little Island train station.
Other stops along the train route include Cork City, Fota (a great day out for families), and Cobh (lots of AirBnBs, playgrounds, and family activities).
